If you're driving, start by heading south on Calgary Trail NW (AB-2) from downtown Edmonton. Merge onto Whitemud Drive (AB-62) heading west. Take the exit onto Yellowhead Trail (AB-16) and continue until you reach the exit for Highway 2 South. Follow signs for AB-2 S toward Calgary. After approximately 300 km, take exit 1 toward Ottawa.
