Getting There

  • Walking

    If you are starting from the ByWard Market area, head west on George Street until you reach Sussex Drive. Turn left onto Sussex Drive, and continue walking until you reach Rideau Street. At Rideau Street, turn right and continue walking until you reach the National Gallery of Canada. From there, follow the path that leads to the Ottawa River. Once you reach the river, walk along the promenade until you see the Parliament Buildings on your left.

    If you are near the Ottawa downtown area, you can take the OC Transpo bus. Board any bus heading towards the 'Parliament Hill' stop. Buses like routes 1, 5, or 14 frequently service this route.
