    If you're starting from the ByWard Market area, walk southwest towards Sussex Drive. Turn left onto Sussex Drive and continue until you reach the Rideau Canal. Cross the canal via the pedestrian bridge. After crossing, continue walking straight until you reach Elgin Street. Turn right onto Elgin Street, and you will see Confederation Park on your left side.
