If you are starting from downtown Ottawa, head southeast towards the Rideau Canal. Walk along Queen Street towards the canal, passing by the Fairmont Château Laurier. Once you reach the canal, turn left and follow the pathway along the canal's edge. Continue walking south until you reach the intersection at Colonel By Drive.
