Getting There

• Car

  If you are traveling by car, start your journey in Peace River Country and head southeast on Highway 2. Continue on Highway 2 until you reach the junction with Highway 43. Take Highway 43 eastbound towards Grande Prairie. Once you reach Grande Prairie, merge onto Highway 40 south until you connect with the Yellowhead Highway (Highway 16). Follow the Yellowhead Highway further south until you reach the junction with Highway 5, and then take Highway 5 east towards Winnipeg. Upon entering Winnipeg, follow the signs to downtown and then to Grant Park area. The Manitoba Electrical Museum is located at 680 Harrow St, Winnipeg, MB R3M 3A3. Make sure to check for parking availability near the museum.

• Public Transportation

  For public transportation, you can take a bus from Peace River to Fort McMurray. From Fort McMurray, take a bus to Edmonton, and from there, catch a Greyhound or similar bus service to Winnipeg. Arriving in Winnipeg, you can use local transit (bus service) to get to the museum. Specifically, take Bus Route 11 or Route 47 which will take you close to Grant Park. The museum is a short walk from the nearest bus stop. Be prepared for several transfers and check the bus schedules ahead of time as they can vary.
