If you're driving, start from the nearest major city, which is Regina, Saskatchewan. Head south on Highway 6 towards the town of Assiniboia. Once you reach Assiniboia, take Highway 2 south until you reach the intersection with Highway 37. Turn west onto Highway 37 and continue until you reach Big Beaver. Castle Butte is located just outside of Big Beaver. Look for signs directing you to Castle Butte as you approach the area. There is no entry fee for the site.
