Public Transport
From downtown Winnipeg, take Winnipeg Transit routes 10, 11, or 14. Disembark at a stop near Carlton Street and walk south to 61 Carlton St. A single bus fare is approximately CAD 3.00.
Walking
From the Manitoba Legislative Building, walk east on Broadway, then turn south onto Carlton Street. The museum is located at 61 Carlton Street, a short walk from Broadway and Assiniboine Avenue. This is approximately a 10-15 minute walk.
Car
From the Trans-Canada Highway (Highway 1), take the exit for Kenaston Boulevard (Highway 75) and head north. Merge onto Pembina Highway (Highway 42) towards downtown Winnipeg. Follow the signs for downtown. Once you reach downtown, turn east onto Broadway Avenue and then turn south onto Carlton Street. The museum is located at 61 Carlton St. Free visitor parking is available in the parking lot to the north of the Visitors' Centre. From Monday to Friday during business hours, only the stalls marked “Visitor” are available.
