From any location within Prince Edward Island National Park, head towards Route 1 (Trans-Canada Highway). If you are in the eastern part of the park, take the exit towards Route 1 West. As you approach Borden-Carleton, keep an eye out for the signs directing you to Confederation Bridge. The bridge entrance will be clearly marked, and you will need to pay a toll when leaving PEI, which is approximately $50 for a car. There are also rest areas and viewpoints along the way if you wish to take a break.

If you are using public transportation, take the bus service that operates from Charlottetown to Borden-Carleton. The bus departs from the Charlottetown bus terminal and travels directly to Borden-Carleton. The journey takes about 1 hour. Once you arrive in Borden-Carleton, you can either walk to Confederation Bridge, which is about a 20-minute walk, or arrange for a local taxi service to take you to the bridge entrance.
