Getting There

  • Walking

    If you're starting from the Old Quebec area, head towards Rue Sainte-Anne. Walk northeast until you reach Place d'Armes. From there, continue onto Rue des Jardins, which will lead you to Terrasse Dufferin. Follow this promenade along the cliff's edge until you see the signs for Governors’ Promenade. The entrance will be on your left, offering stunning views over the St. Lawrence River.

  • Public Transit (Bus)

    Take the RTC bus number 800 from the Gare du Palais station. Ride until you reach the stop at Place Royale. From there, walk towards Rue du Petit-Champlain, and then head up to the Terrasse Dufferin. Follow the promenade along until you reach Governors’ Promenade on your left.

    If you're near the Citadelle of Quebec, exit the Citadelle and walk down towards Rue Saint-Jean. Head east until you hit the boardwalk (Terrasse Dufferin). Walk along the boardwalk, enjoying the views, until you find the entrance to Governors’ Promenade on your left.
