Getting There

  • Walking

    If you are starting from Old Quebec, head south on Rue de la Fabrique towards Rue du Trésor. Continue straight until you reach Place Royale. From there, take Rue Saint-Paul and follow it until you reach the intersection with Côte de la Citadelle. Turn left onto Côte de la Citadelle, and you will see The Citadelle of Québec on your right.

  • Public Transport (Bus)

    From the Terminus de Québec, take bus number 11 towards Montmorency Falls. Get off at the stop 'Côte de la Citadelle'. After getting off, walk up Côte de la Citadelle; The Citadelle of Québec will be at the top of the hill on your right at 1 Côte de la Citadelle.

  • Walking from the Parliament Building

    Start at the Parliament Building located at 1045 Rue des Parlementaires. Exit the building and head north on Boulevard René-Lévesque. Turn left onto Avenue Honoré-Mercier, continue walking straight until you reach Côte de la Citadelle. Turn right onto Côte de la Citadelle, and The Citadelle of Québec will be on your right.

  • Walking from the Château Frontenac

    From the Château Frontenac, exit the hotel and walk towards Terrasse Dufferin. Follow the terrace until you reach the stairs leading down to Rue des Carrières. Continue straight until you reach Côte de la Citadelle. Turn left and walk up Côte de la Citadelle to reach The Citadelle of Québec.

    From the Old Port, walk towards Rue Saint-Paul. Continue along Rue Saint-Paul until you reach Rue de la Montagne. Turn left and follow Rue de la Montagne until the end. You’ll arrive at Côte de la Citadelle; turn right, and The Citadelle of Québec will be on your right.
