Getting There

  • Ferry

    Start at the Old Port of Quebec City. Walk to the ferry terminal located at Quai Chouinard, which is easily accessible on foot from anywhere in Old Quebec. The terminal is well-signposted. Once at the terminal, purchase a ticket for the ferry to Lévis. The ferry ride takes about 12 minutes and offers beautiful views of the Quebec City skyline. Upon arrival in Lévis, you will disembark at the Lévis ferry terminal.

  • Public Transit

    After arriving at the Lévis ferry terminal, exit the terminal and walk to the nearest bus stop, which is located right outside the terminal. Board the bus number 10 or 11 heading towards 'Desjardins' or 'Gouvernement'. The bus ride will take approximately 15 minutes. Get off at the stop 'Gouvernement' which is close to the Lévis Forts National Historic Site. From the bus stop, it is a short 5-minute walk to the site at 41 Chem. du Gouvernement.

  • Walking

    If you prefer to walk from the Lévis ferry terminal to Lévis Forts National Historic Site, exit the terminal and head northeast along Rue Saint-Laurent. Continue straight until you reach the intersection with Chem. du Gouvernement. Turn right on Chem. du Gouvernement and walk about 1 kilometer. The site will be on your left at 41 Chem. du Gouvernement. This scenic walk will take approximately 20-25 minutes.
