If you are in Old Quebec, start at Place Royale. Head south on Rue Notre-Dame until you reach Rue du Sault-au-Matelot. Turn left onto Rue du Sault-au-Matelot, then continue straight until you reach Rue Dalhousie. Turn right on Rue Dalhousie, and the Museum of Civilization will be on your left at 85 Rue Dalhousie.

From the Château Frontenac, walk to the nearest bus stop, which is located on Avenue Honoré-Mercier. Take bus number 1 or 800 towards 'Les Saules'. Get off at the stop 'Musée de la civilisation', which is directly in front of the museum entrance.

From the Old Port area, walk along the waterfront promenade towards the east until you reach Rue Dalhousie. Once you hit Rue Dalhousie, turn left and walk until you find the museum at 85 Rue Dalhousie.
