Discover more about Plaza Donor Walls & Fan Sculpture

The Plaza Donor Walls & Fan Sculpture, situated in the northeast commons of Mosaic Stadium, is a public art display that embodies the spirit of Regina and its passionate football fans. Unveiled in June 2017, this installation serves as a community gathering place, celebrating the legacy of the Saskatchewan Roughriders and the city. The centerpiece is an 18-foot tall statue crafted from white bronze, depicting a Roughrider player soaring to make a catch, supported by surrounding fans. This statue symbolizes athletic achievement and the community's unwavering support for its teams. Adjacent to the statue are three impressive "fan walls," each weighing up to 14 tons and stretching 20 feet long. These walls pay tribute to different aspects of Regina's identity. One wall showcases images of the Regina community, past and present, etched into granite. Another honors the region's Indigenous heritage, featuring First Nations and Métis culture and the integral role of the buffalo. The third wall, representing the future, includes a fingerprint embedded in stainless steel, creating a ripple effect across water, symbolizing the impact each individual has on the world. Collectively, the statue and fan walls create an inspiring space that reflects the community, province, and the dedication of Rider Nation. The names on each wall are strategically placed to form silhouettes of children, representing the youth of the community and inspiring future achievement.
