Discover more about River Landing Spray Park

The River Landing Spray Park is a vibrant and engaging water play area situated in Saskatoon's dynamic River Landing district. Opened in 2009 as part of the Meewasin Riverfront development, the spray park provides a refreshing escape for children and families during the summer months. The park's design incorporates elements of the Saskatchewan River Basin, educating visitors about the region's geography and hydrology through interactive water features. More than just a place to cool off, the Spray Park is a central element of the River Landing redevelopment project, which aims to revitalize Saskatoon's riverfront and create a thriving commercial and cultural hub. The area has a rich history, serving as a rest stop for wildlife and bison hunting parties before settlement. Later, it became a site for early settlers and a bustling hub for Chinese immigrants. Today, River Landing is a modern destination with a mix of residential, commercial, and recreational spaces. The Spray Park itself features a variety of water喷水 features, including喷水 jets,喷水 cannons, and喷水 arches, providing endless opportunities for kids to splash and play. The ground is textured and patterned to represent the waterways and landmarks of the Saskatchewan River Basin, offering an educational experience alongside the fun. Parents can relax on nearby benches and picnic tables while keeping an eye on their children. The park is surrounded by other attractions, including walking trails, public art installations, and the Remai Modern art gallery.
