The journey will take about 10-12 hours, depending on traffic and stops. Make sure to take the exit for Highway 95 toward Cranbrook. Once in Cranbrook, merge onto Highway 1 again, and continue east until you reach the junction with Highway 2. Follow Highway 2 north, and then take Highway 89 toward the U.S. border. After crossing into the U.S., follow the signs to Lubec, Maine. The West Quoddy Head Lighthouse is located at 973 S Lubec Rd, Lubec, ME 04652. Parking is available near the lighthouse.

For those using public transportation, the journey can be a bit more complex. Begin by taking a bus or train to Bangor, Maine. From Bangor, you can take a Greyhound bus to Machias, Maine. This ride will take approximately 2.5 hours. In Machias, you will need to arrange for a local taxi service or rideshare to get to Lubec, as public transportation options are limited in this area. The taxi ride from Machias to Lubec will take about 30 minutes. Once in Lubec, follow the signs to West Quoddy Head Lighthouse, which is about a 10-minute drive from the town center.
