Getting There

  • Public Transit - Bus

    From Osborne Village, head to the nearest bus stop located at the corner of Osborne Street and Stradbrook Avenue. Board the Number 18 bus heading towards 'Westwood'. This bus will take you directly towards FortWhyte Alive. You will need to ride for approximately 15 minutes. Get off at the stop called 'McCreary Road at FortWhyte Alive'. From the bus stop, it's a short walk to the entrance of FortWhyte Alive, which is located at 1961 McCreary Rd.

  • Walking

    If you prefer to walk, start at the intersection of Osborne Street and Stradbrook Avenue. Head west on Stradbrook Avenue towards Pembina Highway. Cross over Pembina Highway and continue straight onto McCreary Road. FortWhyte Alive will be on your right-hand side after about a 30-minute walk.

  • Bike Rental

    For those who enjoy cycling, consider renting a bike. There are several bike rental shops in Osborne Village. Once you have your bike, head towards Pembina Highway. Follow the bike lanes along Pembina to McCreary Road. FortWhyte Alive is approximately a 20-minute bike ride from the village.
