The journey will take approximately 1.5 hours. Upon reaching the border, there may be a checkpoint where you need to show your travel documents. After crossing the border into Cameroon, continue following signs towards Hédré. You’ll need to drive about 30 minutes to reach Khilisna, which is located at FGPQ+H6, Hédré, Cameroon.
Public Transportation
For those using public transportation, begin your journey at the main bus station in Bol. Look for a bus or shared taxi heading towards the town of Yahadé. The fare is typically around 2,000 CFA francs. Once in Yahadé, you will need to find a shared taxi or moto-taxi that can take you to Hédré. This leg of the trip may cost around 1,000 CFA francs. After arriving in Hédré, you can ask a local for directions to Khilisna, which is a short walk away.
Bike or Walk
If you are feeling adventurous and are in good shape, you can rent a bicycle in Hédré or walk to Khilisna. From the center of Hédré, head southeast. The distance is roughly 4 kilometers and should take about 30 minutes by bike or 1 hour on foot. Be mindful of local traffic and road conditions.
