From the center of San Pedro de Atacama, head north following the main road, Caracoles. Turn left onto Tocopilla street and continue for approximately 3 kilometers. The walk takes around 30-40 minutes. The entrance to Pukará de Quitor will be on your left. Entrance fee is 5,750 CLP.

Taxi/Colectivo
Taxis and colectivos (shared taxis) are readily available in San Pedro de Atacama. A taxi ride to Pukará de Quitor takes approximately 10 minutes. Expect to pay around 5,000-7,000 CLP for a one-way taxi ride. Colectivos are a more economical option. Ask your driver to drop you off at the entrance of Pukará de Quitor. Entrance fee is 5,750 CLP.

Rent a bicycle from one of the many rental shops in San Pedro de Atacama. Follow the main road, Caracoles, north out of town. Turn left onto Tocopilla street and continue for approximately 3 kilometers. The ride is relatively flat and takes around 20-30 minutes.
