Continue on Route 181 for about 25 km until you reach the scenic viewpoints and access points along the river. There are also several parking areas available near popular spots.

Bus

From Temuco, you can take a bus to Victoria. Multiple bus companies operate this route, and the journey takes about 1 hour. Once in Victoria, you can catch a local minibus or taxi to Malleco River. Ensure you confirm the drop-off point with the driver, as some may not go directly to the river but to nearby access points.

Taxi

If you prefer not to take the bus, you can hire a taxi from Temuco to Malleco River. This option is more expensive, with fares ranging from CLP 40,000 to CLP 60,000 depending on your exact destination along the river. It takes about 1 hour to reach the river by taxi.

Public Transport (Local Minibus)
