Public Transport
From the Coyhaique bus terminal, take a bus heading south on Route 7 (Carretera Austral). Ask the driver to drop you off at the junction with Route 240. The bus fare is approximately 5,000 CLP. From the junction, walk approximately 5 kilometers along Route 240 to reach Laguna Chiguay. Be prepared for a hike as the road may not always be well-maintained.
Driving
From Coyhaique, take Route 7 (Carretera Austral) southbound. Continue for approximately 40 kilometers until you reach the junction with Route 240. Turn left onto Route 240 and follow it for about 30 kilometers. Look for signs indicating Laguna Chiguay. The final stretch is unpaved, and a 4x4 vehicle is recommended due to potential rough terrain. Parking is available near the lagoon.
