Car
If you are traveling by car, start from Concepción. Head south on Route 160 towards Penco. After approximately 15 km, take the exit towards Penco. Once in Penco, follow Avenida Libertador Bernardo O'Higgins until you reach Línea Férrea. Fuerte La Planchada will be located along this road. There is free parking available near the site.
Public Transportation
To reach Fuerte La Planchada using public transportation, take a bus from the main terminal in Concepción to Penco. Buses to Penco are frequent, and the fare is around 1,500 CLP. Once you arrive at the Penco bus terminal, you can either take a taxi (approximately 3,000 CLP) or walk (about 20 minutes) to the site. Walk along Avenida Libertador Bernardo O'Higgins and turn onto Línea Férrea. Fuerte La Planchada will be on your right.

If you prefer a more direct option, consider using a taxi or a ride-sharing service like Uber from Concepción to Fuerte La Planchada. The trip will take around 20-30 minutes and cost approximately 15,000 to 20,000 CLP depending on traffic.
