Car
If you're traveling by car, navigate to San Pedro de Atacama. From the main highway (Ruta 23), take the exit toward San Pedro. Follow the signs entering the town. Once you reach the center of San Pedro, drive towards Pasaje Portal del Inca. You will find Backpackers San Pedro Hostel & Excursions at Pasaje Portal del Inca 486, Población, Conde Duque. Look for a small alleyway; the hostel is located within that passage. Parking may be limited, so plan to arrive early if you're driving.
Bus
For those using public transportation, take a bus to San Pedro de Atacama from major cities like Calama or Antofagasta. The bus terminal in San Pedro is centrally located. Once you arrive, exit the terminal and head towards the town center. From there, walk or take a local taxi to Pasaje Portal del Inca. The hostel is about a 15-minute walk from the bus terminal. If you prefer not to walk, local taxis are available for a small fee, typically around 2,000-3,000 CLP.
Taxi
If you prefer a direct route from the bus terminal or any point in San Pedro, you can take a taxi. Simply tell the driver to take you to Pasaje Portal del Inca 486, Población, Conde Duque. The fare should be around 2,000-3,000 CLP depending on your starting location. Make sure to confirm the price before getting in.
