Car
If you're driving from Valdivia, take Route 5 south towards Puerto Montt. After roughly 80 km, take the exit towards Route 225 for the island of Quinchao. Continue on Route 225 for about 40 km until you reach the ferry terminal at La Arena. Take the ferry (which operates regularly; a ticket costs around CLP 7,000 for a vehicle) to the island. Once on Quinchao, follow the main road until you reach Progreso 04 in Achao. The church will be on your right.
Public Transportation
From Valdivia, catch a bus to Puerto Montt (approximately 1.5 hours). Once in Puerto Montt, transfer to a bus heading to Achao (check local schedules as they may vary). This bus will take you to the ferry terminal at La Arena. After crossing the ferry (around CLP 1,000 for a passenger), continue on the bus to Achao. The Iglesia De Achao is located on Progreso 04, just a short walk from the bus stop.
