From Central Valley, get on Route 5 (Pan-American Highway) heading north towards Antofagasta. Continue on Route 5 for approximately 1,200 kilometers. As you approach Antofagasta, take the exit toward Av. Argentina. Continue on Av. Argentina until you reach Ossa. Mercado Central de Antofagasta will be on your right at Ossa, 1271640 Antofagasta. Parking may be available nearby but check for local regulations as some areas may require payment.
Public Transportation
If you prefer public transportation, take a bus from the Central Valley to Antofagasta. You can catch a bus from major bus terminals like Terminal de Buses San Fernando or Terminal de Buses Rancagua. The bus ride to Antofagasta can take around 14-16 hours, depending on your departure point. Upon arrival at the Antofagasta bus terminal, you can take a local taxi or use a ride-sharing app to get to Mercado Central de Antofagasta.
