Public Transportation (Bus)
To reach Plaza Sotomayor using public transportation, catch a bus from your location in the Central Valley to Valparaíso. Buses frequently depart from major bus terminals, such as Terminal Alameda in Santiago. The journey to Valparaíso takes approximately 1.5 to 2 hours, and tickets usually cost around CLP 7,000 to CLP 10,000 one way. Once you arrive at the Valparaíso bus terminal, it's a short walk to Plaza Sotomayor. Just head southwest on Avenida Pedro Montt and turn left onto Sotomayor Street.
