Getting There

Bus
From Concepción, head to the main bus terminal, Terminal de Buses Collao. Purchase a ticket to Lota. Buses run approximately every 30 minutes. The journey takes about 1 hour. Once you arrive at the Lota bus terminal, exit the terminal and look for the local bus or colectivo (shared taxi) heading towards Playa Blanca. The bus should be marked with 'Playa Blanca' or 'Lota'. The local bus will take you directly to Playa Blanca, which is about a 15-minute ride from the Lota terminal.

After arriving at the Lota bus terminal from Concepción, you can also take a colectivo to Playa Blanca. Colectivos are shared taxis that can be found near the terminal.
