Getting There

Bus
From the center of Concepción, head to the main bus terminal, Terminal de Buses Collao. Look for buses heading towards Lota. The journey takes approximately 45 minutes. Once you arrive at the Lota bus terminal, exit the terminal and head towards the main road (Avenida Pablo Neruda). Walk south on Avenida Pablo Neruda until you reach the intersection with Calle Colcura. Turn right onto Calle Colcura and continue straight until you reach Playa de Colcura.

Collective Taxi (Colectivo)
From anywhere in Concepción, find a colectivo (shared taxi) that operates on the route to Lota. You can find colectivos at designated taxi stands or request one through a local taxi app. Inform the driver you want to go to Playa de Colcura. The direct drive will take around 30-40 minutes. The colectivo will drop you off near the beach entrance, from where you can easily walk to the sand.

If you prefer to walk, start from the Plaza de la Independencia in Concepción. Walk to the nearest metro station, Universidad de Concepción, and take the metro to the Estación Collao.
