Getting There

• Car

  If you're driving from the center of Futaleufu, head south on Route 7 (Carretera Austral) for about 5 km. You'll pass through scenic landscapes. Keep an eye out for signs pointing towards Playa Los Lolos. After approximately 5 km, turn left onto a smaller gravel road leading towards the river. Follow this road for about 2 km until you reach the parking area near Playa Los Lolos. Make sure to check the condition of the road, as it may vary depending on the weather.

• Public Transportation

  There are limited bus services from Futaleufu to nearby areas, but no direct public transport to Playa Los Lolos. You can take a bus from Futaleufu to the nearest bus stop on Route 7. From there, you will need to arrange a taxi or a local ride share to reach Playa Los Lolos. Expect to pay around CLP 10,000-20,000 for the taxi ride, depending on your negotiation skills and the time of day. It's best to ask locals for taxi recommendations.

  If you prefer to walk, it’s an adventurous option! From Futaleufu, head south on Route 7 for about 5 km, which will take approximately 1.5-2 hours depending on your pace.
