Car
From the center of Futaleufu, head southwest on Calle 21 de Mayo toward Calle Los Alamos. Continue straight onto Ruta 5. After approximately 2 km, turn left onto a dirt road that leads toward the river. Follow the signs for 'Rio Futaleufu'. The drive will take about 15 minutes, and you will need a vehicle suitable for rough terrain. Parking may be available near the river.

Public Transportation
In Futaleufu, you can take a local bus or shared taxi (colectivo) heading towards the Rio Futaleufu. Buses frequently depart from the main square. Ask the driver to drop you off at the 'Rio Futaleufu' stop, which is about 10 km from town. The fare is usually around CLP 2,000-3,000. From the drop-off point, it may require a short walk to reach the rapids.

If you prefer walking, from the center of Futaleufu, follow Calle 21 de Mayo and continue onto Ruta 5. It is a scenic walk of approximately 2 km to the river. The path can be uneven, so wear appropriate footwear. It may take around 30-40 minutes to reach the Rio Futaleufu rapids.
