From the central Plaza de Armas in La Serena, head east on Avenida Francisco de Aguirre towards Avenida Balmaceda. Continue straight until you reach Avenida del Mar. Turn right onto Avenida del Mar and walk along the coastal promenade. After approximately 2 kilometers, you will reach the junction with Avenida Costanera. Continue straight for about 500 meters, and you will see the entrance to Bernardo O'Higgins Park on your left. The park is well-marked and a popular spot for both locals and tourists.
