If you are traveling by car, start your journey from Punta Arenas, the largest city in the Magallanes and Chilean Antarctica Region. Head south on Route 9 towards Puerto Natales. This drive will take approximately 3 hours (approximately 245 km). Once you reach Puerto Natales, continue on Route 9 to the town of Villa O'Higgins, which will take about another 2 hours (approximately 120 km). From Villa O'Higgins, take the ferry from Puerto Bahía O'Higgins to Puerto Toro. Please check ferry schedules in advance, as they may vary. Once you arrive at Puerto Toro, continue by foot or local transportation to the entrance of Parque Nacional Cabo de Hornos.
