From downtown Santiago, take Route 5 Sur (Panamericana) southbound. Continue for about 30 km until you reach the exit for San José de Maipo. Merge onto Route 23 and follow the signs to San José de Maipo. Once in the town, continue on Camino Las Melosas. The hike to Cascada Las Melosas begins at the end of the road. Parking is available near the trailhead, but it may have a small fee (around CLP 2,000-3,000). The hike is approximately 1.5 km one way and takes about 30-40 minutes.

To reach Cascada Las Melosas using public transportation, start by taking a Metro Line 5 train (green line) to Plaza de Maipú station.
