From Santiago, take Route 5 South (Autopista Central) and follow the signs for Route 57 toward San José de Maipo. Continue on Route 57 for about 30 kilometers. When you reach the town of San José de Maipo, turn left onto Inmaculada Street. Continue straight until you reach Inmaculada 170, where Cajón del Maipo is located. Be aware that there may be parking fees in the area, depending on where you park.

From there, exit the station and look for the buses known as 'microbuses' or 'colectivos' heading to San José de Maipo. Once you arrive in San José de Maipo, you may need to walk or take a local taxi to reach Inmaculada 170, where Cajón del Maipo is located. The bus fare is typically around 1,500 CLP.
