Getting There

• Car

  If you are traveling by car, begin your journey in the center of Santiago. Set your GPS to Jardín Mapulemu at 'Cam. Claudio Gay, Providencia, Región Metropolitana'. From Plaza de Armas, take Av. Libertador General Bernardo O'Higgins (known as La Alameda) heading east. Continue straight until you reach the intersection with Av. Providencia. Turn right onto Av. Providencia and drive for about 3 km. As you approach the area, look for signs directing you to Parque Metropolitano. Jardín Mapulemu is located inside this park. Parking is available nearby but may incur a fee, typically around 1,000 to 2,000 CLP per hour.

• Public Transportation

  To reach Jardín Mapulemu via public transportation, you can use the Metro system. Start by taking Line 1 (the red line) to the 'Baquedano' station. After exiting the station, transfer to Line 5 (the green line) and head towards 'Plaza de Maipú'. Alight at 'Chile Espacio Urbano' station. From there, you will need to walk approximately 15 minutes to Jardín Mapulemu. Follow the signs towards Parque Metropolitano. Alternatively, you can take a taxi or rideshare service directly from the metro station to the garden, which should cost around 3,000 to 5,000 CLP.

• Bus

  If you prefer to travel by bus, you can catch a bus that goes to 'Parque Metropolitano'. Head to any major bus terminal in Santiago and look for buses going towards the Providencia area. Once you alight, you'll need to walk approximately 10 minutes to Jardín Mapulemu. Keep in mind that bus fares typically range from 600 to 800 CLP. It's advisable to have small change ready for fare payment.
