Getting There

  If you are driving from Copiapó, take Route 5 (Pan-American Highway) south. Continue on this road for approximately 30 kilometers until you reach the exit for Route 31 toward Laguna Verde. Follow Route 31 for about 25 kilometers, enjoying the scenic views. You will eventually see signs directing you to Laguna Verde. The last stretch requires navigating through a more rugged terrain, so ensure your vehicle is suitable for this. Parking is available near the lake.

  From Copiapó, head to the main bus terminal and look for a bus service heading towards Laguna Verde. There are limited services, so check the schedule in advance. The bus ride will take approximately 1.5 to 2 hours. Once you arrive at the closest stop to Laguna Verde, you may need to take a short taxi ride to reach the lake itself, as public transportation may not take you directly to the lake's shore. Be prepared for a taxi fare of approximately CLP 5,000 to CLP 10,000, depending on the distance.
