After about 40 km, you will reach the entrance to Parque Nacional Volcán Isluga. Ensure your vehicle is suitable for mountain driving, as the road can be challenging.

    To reach Parque Nacional Volcán Isluga via public transport, take a bus from Arica to Putre (approximately 2-3 hours). Once in Putre, you can arrange for a local taxi or a shared van to take you to the park entrance, which is about 40 km from Putre. Be prepared for the taxi fare, which may range from 15,000 to 25,000 CLP depending on the negotiation.
