If you are driving from Chillán, take Route 5 Sur southbound. Continue for approximately 60 km until you reach the junction for Route 58. Turn left onto Route 58 and follow the signs for Las Trancas. Drive for about 25 km, and you'll see signs for Termas de Chillán. Follow the signs into the resort area. Be prepared for a winding road as you approach the hot springs.
