If you are driving, start by navigating to San Vicente, a town in the Ñuble Region. From the center of San Vicente, take the Route 5 Sur (also known as Carretera Panamericana) heading south. Continue for approximately 10 km until you reach the exit for El Carmen. Follow the signs toward El Carmen and then take the Route T-61. After about 5 km, turn onto a local road leading to San Vicente Alto. Keep an eye out for local signage directing you to La silla del indio. Park at the designated area and prepare for a short hike to the viewpoint.

To reach La silla del indio via public transportation, start by taking a bus from Chillán to San Vicente. Buses frequently depart from the main terminal in Chillán.
