From Coyhaique, take Route 240 heading towards the town of Puerto Aysén. The drive will take approximately 1.5 hours. Once you reach Puerto Aysén, continue on Route 240 for about 25 km (15.5 miles). You will see signs for Cascada La Virgen. The waterfall is located directly off the road, and there is parking available nearby.
Public Transportation
For those using public transportation, first take a bus from Coyhaique to Puerto Aysén. Buses run frequently and the journey takes about 1 hour. Once you arrive in Puerto Aysén, you can either take a taxi or look for local minibuses that head towards Cascada La Virgen. The taxi will take approximately 30 minutes and may cost around CLP 10,000-15,000. If you opt for a minibus, be sure to confirm their schedule and cost with locals, as they can vary.
Hiking
