From Puerto Natales, take Route 9 heading east for about 60 km until you reach Route 9-CH. Continue on Route 9-CH for another 90 km until you arrive in Torres del Paine National Park. Follow the signs for Y-150. After approximately 30 km on Y-150, you will see El Lago Sarmiento on your left. Make sure to have a packed lunch and water, as there are limited facilities in the area.

Take a bus from Puerto Natales to Torres del Paine. Buses typically leave in the morning and take about 2 hours to reach the park. Once you arrive at Torres del Paine, you will need to take a taxi or shuttle to reach El Lago Sarmiento. Make sure to confirm the taxi fare beforehand, as it can vary. The taxi ride will take about 30 minutes and costs approximately 20,000 CLP.
