If you are traveling by car, start from Puerto Natales. Head southeast on Avenida Eberhard toward Ruta 9. Continue on Ruta 9 for approximately 13 km, following signs for Mirador Dorotea. The entrance to the viewpoint is well-marked. Be prepared for a steep drive up a gravel road for the last few kilometers.

For those using public transportation, take a bus from Puerto Natales to the entrance of Mirador Dorotea. Buses run regularly from the town center, and you can catch them on Avenida Eberhard. Once you arrive at the bus stop near the entrance, you may need to hike the last part. The walk to the viewpoint from the bus stop is about 1 km up a dirt path, so wear appropriate footwear.
