Car
If you are traveling by car, head south on the Carretera Austral (Route 7) from Coyhaique. Follow the signs towards Puerto Río Tranquilo. After about 220 km, you will reach a junction near Chile Chico. Turn left onto Route 265 and continue for approximately 20 km. You will see signs for Puerto Río Tranquilo. Once you arrive in the town, look for parking areas near the shore where you can enjoy the views of the lake and the nearby marble caves.
Bus
For those using public transportation, take a bus from Coyhaique to Chile Chico. Buses depart daily from the Coyhaique terminal and the journey takes approximately 5 hours. Once you arrive in Chile Chico, you can catch a local taxi or walk to the waterfront area, where Puerto Río Tranquilo is located. It's about a 10-minute walk from the bus station to the lakefront, where you can find tours to the marble caves.
