Wonderful tour of the Puerto Montt area

Our cruise ship was making a nine-hour stop in Puerto Montt, and we wanted to see the local beauty. The ship offered excursions to the Petrowe River and the Osorno Volcano, but we knew that the efficiency of such excursions was very low. So we started looking for a private guide, with only two wishes: to see as many beauty as possible and avoid crowds of cruise passengers. Fortunately, we came across the website of the company "Roman Turventure" and agreed with Roman on this tour. Roman met us at the port, and the tour began. We went to the Osorno volcano to the level of the lower station of the chairlift, took this lift, then walked down to the car – the Weather God was kind to us, it was sunny and not windy, the beauty was over the roof! Then there is the quiet lake Todos los Santos ("lake of all saints"), the stormy and beautiful mountain river Petroue. The novel gave us a snack on the banks of this river, and showed us some little-known approaches to it - warm rounded rocks and blue-green water! Then we stopped by a llama farm and the final stop was the resort town of Puerto Varas on the shores of the serene Lake Llanquihue. The novel is incredibly energetic, sporty, social, knowing a lot about South America in general, and Chile in particular. Talking to him was one of the benefits of our tour. Great comfortable car, no rush - we always had the opportunity to linger and take pictures of anything we wanted. Roman filmed us on tour, too, and then sent us over 50 shots and clips, and the absolute majority of them were very successful. On the way back along the Petrowe River, we passed the place where cruise ship excursions usually arrive. We saw some huge buses struggling to park in a small space and a mass of people walking slowly to and from the park. We weren't there — thank you, Roman!
