Walking
Start from Plaza de Armas in the center of Punta Arenas. Head south on Avenida España towards Avenida Colón. Continue straight until you reach the intersection with Avenida Bulnes. Turn left onto Avenida Bulnes and walk for about 1.5 kilometers. You will see signs indicating the direction to Cerro Prat. Follow the signs until you reach the foot of the hill. From there, you can start your ascent to the peak.

Public Transport (Bus)
From Plaza de Armas, walk to the nearest bus stop on Avenida Colón. Take Bus 1 (Centro - Playa) and disembark at the stop near the intersection of Avenida Bulnes and Avenida España. From there, it’s a short walk south along Avenida Bulnes until you see signs for Cerro Prat. Follow the signs to the hill's base, and then begin your hike up.

Taxi
If you prefer a quicker option, you can hail a taxi from any location in Punta Arenas. Instruct the driver to take you to Cerro Prat. They will know the location, and it should take about 15-20 minutes depending on traffic. Once you arrive at the base, you can start your hike to the peak.
