From the center of San Pedro de Atacama, head south on Caracoles Street towards the intersection with Domingo Atienza Street. Continue straight until you reach the Plaza de San Pedro. At the Plaza, turn left onto Gustavo Le Paige Street. Follow this street until it intersects with the road leading to the Catarpe Valley. You will see signs for Catarpe. Continue walking along this road for about 3 kilometers until you reach the entrance to Catarpe. The walk should take approximately 40-50 minutes.
