Getting There

Walking

From the center of San Pedro de Atacama, head west on Calle Toconao towards Calle Caracoles. Continue straight until you reach the intersection with Calle del Desierto. Turn left onto Calle del Desierto and walk for about 1.5 kilometers. As you walk, you'll see beautiful landscapes and some local shops. Keep an eye out for signs directing you to Mars Valley. After about 20 minutes of walking, you will start to see the entrance to Mars Valley on your right.
