Walking
From the main square of San Pedro de Atacama, head south on Caracoles Street. Continue walking straight until you reach the intersection with the main road (Ruta 23). Cross the road carefully and continue onto the dirt path that leads towards the entrance of Mars Valley. The valley is about a 30-45 minute walk from the town center.

Bicycle Rental
Rent a bicycle from one of the local shops in San Pedro de Atacama. Once you have your bike, head south on Caracoles Street and then take a left onto Ruta 23. Follow the signs towards Valle de Marte (Mars Valley). The ride will take approximately 15-20 minutes. Be mindful of the road conditions as it may be bumpy.
