If you are traveling by car, navigate to Iquique. Once in Iquique, head towards Baquedano Street. From the main highway (Ruta 5), take the exit towards Iquique Centro. Continue on Avenida Costanera until you reach Avenida Baquedano, and then turn left. Follow Baquedano Street until you reach number 1396, where the Museo Historico Militar is located. Parking may be available on the street or in nearby lots, but be aware of any parking regulations.

For those using public transportation, start by taking a bus to Iquique. Once you arrive at the main bus terminal in Iquique, look for local bus services or taxis that can take you to the city center. You can take a bus that goes to Avenida Baquedano. Ask the driver to let you know when you reach Baquedano 1396. Alternatively, you can request a taxi at the bus terminal which will take you directly to the museum. Taxi fares may vary but expect to pay around 3,000 to 5,000 CLP.

If you are already in the city center of Iquique, you can easily walk to Museo Historico Militar. From Plaza Prat, head east on Avenida Baquedano. It is about a 15-minute walk. Keep walking straight, and the museum will be on your left at number 1396. Make sure to enjoy the surrounding architecture and local shops along the way!
