Walking
If you are in the city center of Valdivia, start at Plaza de la República, which is a central square. From there, head east on Calle General Pedro Lagos. Continue straight until you reach the intersection with Avenida Alemania. Turn left onto Avenida Alemania and walk straight for about 10 minutes. You will pass by various shops and cafes. Once you reach the intersection with Calle Saval, turn right. Continue walking for a few more minutes, and you will see Parque Saval on your left.
Public Transport
To reach Parque Saval via public transport, you can take a local bus from the Valdivia bus terminal. Look for buses heading towards 'Avenida Alemania'. Board the bus and ask the driver to notify you when you reach Parque Saval. The ride should take about 15-20 minutes. Once you get off, walk towards the park entrance which is a short distance from the bus stop.
Bicycle
If you prefer cycling, rent a bike from one of the local rental shops in the city center. Start your journey from Plaza de la República, heading east on Calle General Pedro Lagos. After about 5 minutes, you will reach Avenida Alemania. Turn left and cycle straight. It’s about a 10-minute ride to Parque Saval. There are bike lanes along much of the route, making it safe and enjoyable.
