The Valdivia River Fair is a market located in the Chilean city of Valdivia, province of the same name, in the Los Ríos Region, specifically on the Costanera Arturo Prat, very close to the Cathedral and the Pedro de Valdivia Bridge that connects to the center of the city with Isla Teja.
The Pedro de Valdivia Bridge is an arch bridge that crosses the Valdivia River, linking the center of the city of Valdivia to the residential area of Isla Teja.
Valdivia
Teja Island is a river island, adjacent to the city of Valdivia, Chile, in the Los Ríos Region. It is surrounded by the Calle-Calle, Valdivia, Cau-Cau and Cruces rivers. It is accessed by crossing the Pedro de Valdivia bridge from the city center, the Caucau bridge or the Cruces bridge from the coastal sector.
One of the main objectives of the botanical garden is the collection and conservation of plants, local or exotic, and the protection of species at risk of extinction.
Saval Park is located on Teja Island, on land that belonged to the Prochelle family since 1870. This family created gardens and two artificial lagoons there at the end of the 19th century, famous for housing lotus flowers. In 1944 the Valdivia Agricultural and Livestock Society (SAVAL) acquired the land for the Valdivia Agricultural and Industrial Exhibition. A large number of open-air concerts, gastronomic fairs, exhibitions and cultural activities are held in Saval Park.
Lotus flower lagoon located in Saval Park on Isla Teja, Valdivia. It is one of the most important tourist and recreational attractions in the city. In its beginnings, the park belonged to the land of the Prochelle family in approximately 1870. Later, it was remodeled until the end of the 19th century, where two artificial lagoons were added to house the renowned Lotus flowers.
