Once in Zapallar, follow the signs towards the beach and park your car. The boat launch to Cachagua Island is located near the beach area. Be aware that parking may incur a fee, typically around CLP 2,000 per hour.

    Take a bus from Valparaíso to Zapallar. Buses leave from the Terminal de Buses de Valparaíso and the journey lasts about 1.5 to 2 hours. Once you arrive in Zapallar, head towards the beach area. From the bus station, it’s a 15-minute walk to the beach where you can find the boat launch to Cachagua Island. The bus fare is approximately CLP 3,500 to CLP 5,000 one way. Note that boat rides to the island are available for a fee, typically around CLP 10,000.
